My friend Jan lent us her son's "bike" (as Caleb calls it) since her son didn't play with it anymore. Caleb absolutely loves "going fast" on it! Thank you, Jan!

Flashbacks
I got the infant carseat out of the attic yesterday; Caleb immediately wanted to play with it!
Daddy's still got the touch... it's a better workout with a 27 pound toddler!

"Adult Beverage"
When Christopher was making a milkshake over the weekend, Caleb wanted some "adult beverage," as Christopher told him. It sounds hilarious when he says it. He had another "adult beverage" according to Daddy with breakfast today: chocolate milk. He had not had it before and, of course, loved it.
This will be the extent of his "adult beverages" for a while! ;)
Just a little bit of snow!
We enjoyed a little bit of snow during the night and went on a walk this morning before it started to melt. This is the first snow we've had this winter. Caleb loved it and kept saying it was "crunchy."
He didn't want to take off his hat when we came in for breakfast!
Strawberries = "Diabetes"
For the longest time Caleb would ask for "diabetes" but I never knew what he was talking about. We finally figured out he was talking about strawberries! He's able to say "strawberries" a little better now but still sometimes doesn't come out quite right. He's been enjoying some for the past few days.
Duke vs. NCSU
Christopher struck gold with some tickets so he and I got to go to Cameron Indoor Stadium to watch Duke and NCSU play (and witness the Cameron Crazies who definitely lived up to their name) on February 16th. It was my first time to Cameron and was quite the experience. Unfortunately (for me as my husband is a huge Duke fan), the Wolfpack lost their 20 point lead in the last 10 minutes. It was an exciting game to watch!
Caleb had a MomMom date for the evening but was supporting theWolfpack too. I made a shirt that said "A Baby Divided" but hopefully Baby Bug will cheer for the Wolfpack too (Christopher would say otherwise)!
Soaking it all in...
Our seats were right under the platform where CBS' comentators were.
And then it all went so very wrong (at least for the Wolfpack)...
Camping out for the UNC/Duke game. Why, might I ask, is there a saw next to the toilet?
Happy Early Birthday Aunt J
Mom, Caleb, and I went to Greenville for an overnight on February 11th to celebrate my sister's birthday a little early. Caleb really enjoyed her roommate's cat, Apollo; I'm not sure how much Apollo enjoyed Caleb though...

In the zone...
Caleb has to come to meetings with me that are before school sometimes.
The past two I've taken DVDs with me for him to watch and used a pair of headphones from the school. He thinks they're fantastic!
Messier and messier...
While Christopher was out watching Duke basketball with friends, Caleb and I got out the paint.
As time went on it got messier and messier until he was literally up to his shoulders in paint... such fun!
We ended up with a fun finger painting, a birthday card, and Valentine for Daddy made. I had hoped to make lots of Valentine's to send out but as Caleb said, he was "a mess." For Christopher's I needed a foot print; I've done lots of handprints with Caleb but not footprints; this video is priceless to me!
After I got him all cleaned up and was still cleaning up the table he was running around saying "naked boy" and pulling up his pants as far as he could... so silly!

Our Super Bowl Plays of the Day
The Taylors and the Deans came for dinner and to watch the Super Bowl. It was fun to watch Caleb keep up with the big boys!
