First pregnancy post since the announcement... and it's 2 weeks in the making.
And now the second trimester is already here... WOW!
The second time around is definitely different for me. My focus is definitely not "all baby" like it was for the first. Partly that has to do with most of my time being spent with Caleb... and then napping. I'm starting to get some energy back this week and don't feel the urge to run straight to bed after I put Caleb down for his nap.
I am having lots of crazy dreams! Two nights during the past week I dreamed all my teeth fell out when I was chewing gum... what does that mean?
I've popped. Big difference in being pregnant with this baby: I don't care about squeezing into my regular clothes... bring on the comfort. I am wearing some maternity clothes but using a belly band; my winter maternity clothes are all huge since I was wearing them at 8 and 9 months with Caleb.
I'd wear pajama pants everywhere if I could!
I had an ultrasound on January 4th. The baby's little arms were moving around and legs were crossed. It was a big difference from the bean shape at the previous one 4 weeks before!
This Scripture kept popping into my head:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
-Psalm 139-
